Kimberley is a Google Certified Teacher who departed her Secondary English, IT and History classrooms late last year to work for the Catholic Education Office in Melbourne. She is part of the ICON project team, supporting schools to harness the power of ICT in their teaching and learning. Kimberley is enthusiastic about education and enhancing the experience of her learners. She believes that ICT enables transformation of practice, can be harnessed to promote higher expectations and create a community of learners. Kimberley has been invited to present at conferences across Victoria and internationally and has collaborated with educational publishers to produce ICT based resources for schools. Having taught in an Apple Distinguished School with 1:1 iPads and laptops, she understands first hand the great challenges and wonderful opportunities that exist to leverage ICT to transform learning and teaching.
